Mic Audio Limiter or Compression

62 votes

Limiter: To limit the level of the mic signal to a certain threshold (db) which would be useful for sudden screams or yelling. This will prevent unwanted peak mic audio and bleeding ears for headphone users ;)

Compression: Similar to the limiter but Compression will begin smoothly reducing the gain above the threshold where a limiter will almost completely prevent any additional gain above the threshold.

Personally, I prefer the limiter but if either one could be a future feature that would be great.
